UK Overnight Services

Wey Group International Ltd operates its UK Overnight delivery system as part of the APC Overnight Network which specialises in small & medium sized items, for larger or heavier pieces, we have Service Partners who specialise in the oversize but our Sameday Express Courier option can often be just as competitive.

Overnight Services:

MAILPACK (MP)

The Mailpack service has been specifically designed for small, light packages, particularly documents. Providing the weight does not exceed 1kg, and it is packed in one of our MP delivery pouches (37.5cm x 29.5cm) and the Mailpack service is selected, it will qualify for the very competitive rate which is one of the most cost-effective in the industry for a full Track & Trace Overnight service! Not suitable for liquids. Timed Delivery Options: 09.00, 10.00, 12.00 & Next-Day.

COURIERPACK (CP)

Courierpacks are almost double the size of the MP, 54.5cm x 45.5cm & up to 5kg. Not suitable for liquids. Timed Delivery Options: 09.00, 10.00, 12.00 & Next-Day.

LIGHTWEIGHT (LW)

The Lightweight service is specifically designed for small, light packages that have not been “bagged” you can send your own boxes as long as they do not exceed 5kg or 45cm x 35cm x 20cm, the Lightweight service is not suitable for liquids. Timed Delivery Options: 09.00, 10.00, 12.00 & Next-Day.

STANDARD PARCEL (ND)

The Parcel Service is medium sized consignments, up to a maximum of 20 items no single item can exceed 30kg or 120cm x 55cm x 50cm and every item must be boxed. Timed Delivery Options: 09.00, 10.00, 12.00 & Next-Day

LIQUID (LP)

All Liquid consignments must travel through our dedicated hand sort section; all freight identified as “Liquid” is segregated into separate cages for sortation & transportation. Liquids should be labelled as such and have orientation labels affixed, free stickers to clearly identify your Liquid shipments are available upon request.

LIMITED QUANTITIES (LQ)

Goods which carry an LQ or UN number or vary a warning “Diamond” or are classed as “Hazardous” can sometimes be shipped in Limited Quantities as long as they are transported by road. For guidance and advice, please contact Customer Care, where some goods may not travel through the Overnight Service, due to the nature of the goods or amount being shipped, in some circumstances, they may travel via our Sameday Service.

NON – CONVEYABLE PARCEL (NC)

The NC is specifically for bulkier items or items that are un-boxed or for tubes, a maximum of 20 items in one consignment, no single item can exceed 30kg or 160cm x 60cm x 60cm (or two smaller dimensions must not exceed 120cm combined). Timed Delivery Options: 09.00, 10.00, 12.00 & Next-Day.

EXCESS PARCEL (XS)

For the largest items compatible with the APC Overnight service, XS cannot exceed 205cm x 30cm x 30cm and 30kg per item, no more than 20 items per consignment. Timed Delivery Options: 09.00, 10.00, 12.00 & Next-Day.

OVERSIZE (ZN)

For anything larger than those items compatible with the APC Overnight service, ZN can be used to transport almost “everything else”, to some destinations, there are 24 hour delays due to earlier close-outs for some of our bulk carriers, please note, this service is not provided by APC Overnight. Timed Delivery Options: 09.00, 10.00, 12.00 & Next-Day.

SERVICE ADDITIONS & OPTIONS – additional charges may apply

 SATURDAY DELIVERIES (UK)

Saturday deliveries are available to most of the UK. Timed Delivery Options: 09.00, 10.00, 12.00 ONLY – the 16.00 option is not available for Saturday deliveries.

PICK UP REQUEST & THIRD PARTY COLLECTION – STANDARD & PREMIUM

Pick Up Requests (PURs) & Third Party Collections are booked using the Online platform, collections booked before 18.00 on the working day before collection are “STANDARD” those booked before 11.30 on the same day as the collection are “PREMIUM”. Goods must be available throughout the working day, consignment should be securely packed and labelled with only the destination address visible.

PICK UP REQUEST & THIRD PARTY COLLECTION – ULTRA

Similar to the Standard & Premium PURs, we can also provide an exclusive “ULTRA PUR SERVICE”, by utilising our network of carefully selected Sameday Couriers throughout the country, should your Pick-Up –Request not be possible for the local depot to collect with one of their route couriers, we can arrange an express solution that can work to the tightest timeframes

SECURITY

Our Security Service segregates all consignments booked on the service and all items are identified with security labels, they are loaded and security sealed into separate cages throughout transportation. When these goods arrive at our Hubs, they are handled in a dedicated, segregated security zone which is fully covered by high definition CCTV. Items are scanned and tracked at every stage for traceability and peace of mind. Increased liability cover available on selected products please contact Customer Care or Sales for specific Increased Liability Cover charges.

LIQUID

All Liquid consignments must travel through our dedicated hand sort section; all freight identified as “Liquid” is segregated into separate cages for sortation & transportation. Liquids should be labelled as such and have orientation labels affixed, free stickers to clearly identify your Liquid shipments are available upon request.

FRAGILE

The majority of goods can be routed through the dedicated hand sort “Fragile” section; all freight identified as “Fragile” is segregated and carefully handled & sorted. All fragile consignments should be labelled as such and be booked online with the fragile options ticked, free stickers to clearly identify your Fragile shipments are available upon request.

 

PERISHABLE

All goods booked on our bespoke Perishable Service can travel on any timed service option, 09.00, 10.00 or 12.00 the standard Next Day option is also available but priority is given when booked on a “timed delivery option” and the identifying green “Deliver Today” perishable sticker is affixed (available free of charge on request from Customer Care or Sales). We recommend that, where possible, a “Leave Safe” or “Leave With Neighbour” instruction is added to your online booking as undeliverable consignments may run out of shelf-life if returned to the delivery depot.

INCREASED LIABILITY COVER

If our standard levels of liability cover (maximum £100, please see out Terms & Conditions for full details & information) are not sufficient for you specific goods most commodities can benefit from ILC, this is dependent upon the precise nature of the goods, the value, destination and method of transportation. ILC is available for UK & International deliveries, please contact Customer Care for a quotation.
